What is your Clair?
Our understanding of the Clairs extends beyond our ordinary world. Everyone possesses at least one Clair, and some possess a mixture of Clairs. The Clairs are senses to receive information psychically. Each medium has different depictions of what they see and how they see it, however, some traits are common among them. We will discuss the four common Clairs: Clairvoyance, Clairaudience, Claircognizance, and Clairsentience. Do you know your Clair?
About the Clairs
Another name for the Clairs is “Psychic or Spiritual Intelligence”. The Clair abilities are the different channels through which we receive intuitive information or downloads. Although we have one or two that are more dominant, at any time, we can receive information through any channel or Clair. Some people are psychic and do not recognize it. They do not think of themselves as intuitive. Think of someone who says things before they are going to happen or knows things no one would know, but they do not acknowledge their intuition.
In the term Intuitive, I am referring to the sense that is above your normal “Sixth Sense” intuition. Out of all Clair abilities, Clairvoyance gets the most attention and is the one most commonly associated with psychics. Despite this, other Clair abilities are equally psychic, but in a different way. All Clairs are a form of Extrasensory Perception (ESP) and correspond with the five human senses of seeing, hearing, feeling, smelling, and tasting.
There are four ways of receiving psychic information: Clairvoyance, Clairaudience, Claircognition, and Clairsentience. Clair’s can be thought of as a radio frequency where you can tune in and get information.

Clairvoyance
Clairvoyance is known as “Clear Seeing” and “Psychic Sight”. It is the most famous of them all which leads to the misconception that all psychics are Clairvoyant. Clairvoyants have vivid psychic dreams in which they see premonitions, often scenes from the future that will occur in reality. Some see loved ones who have passed away visiting them. Think of Clairvoyance as putting a projector screen in front of you with a movie playing on the screen in your mind. They can see things that are hidden from normal human perception. Clairvoyant abilities involve seeing visions and/or receiving impressions or images that provide information for guidance.
There are various ways that clairvoyance can manifest, including the ability to anticipate events before they occur called precognition. Remote viewing is the capacity to visualize or perceive distant or unseen locations or objects without any prior knowledge. Aura reading is the ability to see the energy fields surrounding individuals, which can provide insight into their emotions, energy, health, and personalities. Psychometry is the ability to gather information about a person from an object by touching it, often by sensing residual energies or emotions connected to it.
A Clairaudient hears sounds, words, sentences, music, and/or lyrics in your own Mind’s voice. Clairaudience is the ability to hear intuitive information and detect psychic information through the ears.

Clairaudience is known as “Clear Hearing”. A Clairaudient hears sounds, words, sentences, music, and/or lyrics in the Mind’s voice. Clairaudience is the ability to hear intuitive information and detect psychic information through the ears. Some can feel it from their inner ear with a tingle, voice, and/or a sound like someone is whispering to them. People often assume it means hearing voices, which is true (Spiritual Voice) because it allows them to hear the words to deliver messages from Spirit Guides and passed away loved ones. Clairaudients can perceive sounds or information beyond the ordinary human auditory range.
There are several ways in which Clairaudience can manifest, through the Inner Voice. Some Clairaudients hear guidance, advice, and/or intuitive messages within their minds. Others hear specific sounds, such as ringing, buzzing, or tones, which are messages and/or signals from the spiritual realm. In certain instances, Clairaudients can communicate with spirits, and deceased Spirit voices and/or receive information from non-physical beings.

A Claircognizant knows things about people or events that we would not normally know, an inner knowing. Claircognizants describe sudden flashes of insight, knowing without understanding how, and/or receiving knowledge out of the blue.

Claircognizant is known as “Clear Knowing”, a clear sense of knowing, psychic insight. A Claircognizant knows things about people or events that we would not normally know, an inner knowing. Claircognizants describe sudden flashes of insight, a knowing without understanding how, and/or receiving knowledge and information out of the blue. There is a true strong conviction or a deep inner certainty about certain facts, situations, and/or solutions without having prior or superior knowledge. Claircognizance is a form of intuition and inner knowing that operates beyond the constraints of rational or conventional thinking. Claircognizants trust the insights and use them to give messages and navigate on the Earthly plane.
Claircognizance is having intense gut feelings and using that information to guide, tap into the energy of a situation or individual, and energetically download information about the past, present, or future. A key aspect of Claircognizance is sudden knowledge, Claircognizants experience spontaneous and unexplained knowledge about various subjects, situations, or people. Belief and Faith in their abilities, an unwavering certainty about their insights and knowledge, even when it cannot be explained. Problem-solving, this ability aids in problem-solving, decision-making, or guiding others based on the information received from the Spiritual Realm. Spiritual Downloads are to receive information as if it were downloaded into the Mind, offering insights and solutions.

Clairsentience
Clairsentience is known as “Clear Feeling”. This clear feeling clues you into the direct feeling for spiritual information. Clairsentients feel a person’s or spirit’s emotions and/or physical pain. Examples of clairsentience are having a strong positive or negative gut feeling, or the “chills”. Clairsentients can tune into the emotional energy of a person, object, or spirit and are highly sensitive. They can both tune into their feelings and those around them. Clairsentients can detect psychic information through the body. They feel sensations in the body such as tingling, warmth, pressure, coldness, or vibrations. The body acts as an antenna or channel for information. The antennae are finely tuned to pick up vibrational energy, internally and externally.
Clairsentients can pick up on energy, emotions, or vibrations from people, places, or objects without direct physical interaction, prior knowledge, cues, or clues. Clairsentience shows itself in the following ways, a deep empathy to deeply feel and understand the emotions, frequency, and energy of others. Some are Empaths, taking on the emotions and feelings of others as if they were their own. Physical sensations can include, sensing physical symptoms or sensations not directly related to the Clairsentient’s physical or Spiritual state. They feel aches, tingles, and/or pressure, which can accompany a download. Intuitive knowing about situations, people, or events without tangible evidence or logical reasoning. With Psychometry, like Clairvoyance or Clairaudience, Clairsentients can receive information about an object or person by touching it and picking up on the energies, vibrations, feelings, or emotions associated.
The Clairs could be viewed as a spiritual gift or spiritual ability. As you develop your Clair(s), it is important to trust what comes through.
