She anticipated the babies being fine and prepared to look beautiful in the event she became a mother.

Suddenly, her blood oxygen levels started to plummet and she began to have a seizure. She was not breathing and her heart began to shut down. Her husband never believed in angelic figures, ghosts, anything paranormal or otherworldly. Moreso, he knew that just as everyone else was in the room so were these two figures. At that moment, she rose outside of her body, and was above, looking down at the OR activity. As she looked down at herself lying there, it didn’t affect her as much and she focused on her husband. She was able to hear him telling her that she needed to stay with him and their new family.

She would not stop bleeding from the C-section and the doctors discussed performing a hysterectomy. They did not want to perform a hysterectomy if the babies were not going to make it. The anesthesiologist called the NICU to check on the status and thankfully, the twins were in stable condition. Her husband authorized the hysterectomy. Up above all, she could see everyone frantically running around and bloody sponges being thrown everywhere. It was as if the room was spinning as she stopped, looked at her husband wondering if this was the last time she would see him. The hysterectomy should have stopped the blood loss but it did not.

Back to Life

She felt a crash, a jolt and knew she was “back” in her physical body, in the Earth realm. Her heart started to beat again and the EKG revealed a massive clot blocking her heart. The blood clot was huge like a piece of rope from her groin into her heart and both chambers. No one in the medical field had seen anything like it before. She survived surgery and fell into a deep coma. The doctors had hope for them as the twins prepared to go home. Little by little she began to fully recover. After two months she was able to go home to be with her family.

Five months later, they discussed that day at the hospital. They both talked about the angelic figures and realized they had both seen them. They often tell the twins the story of their birth and the angelic figures. She is grateful to have a wonderful glimpse of the “other side.”
